Steven Amant started Amant’s Floor Care in 1969 as SteamAway but later changed the name to Amant’s Carpet Cleaning. They specialize in carpet cleaning.
In 1996, Kevin Amant, Steven’s son, joined the company and was professionally trained to restore, clean, and protect hard-surface floors such as marble, stone, travertine, limestone, granite, and slate.
After completing the special training, he performed the work until 2005.
In 2005, Steven Amant decided to retire and sold the company to Kevin Amant, who continues to own and manage it. However, today, he has tightly trained and skilled technicians who perform the work while he prepares estimates, schedules jobs, and manages the company’s daily tasks.
