About Amant’s Floor Care

Our company was founded by Steven Amant in 1969.  He focused on carpet cleaning and operated under the name SteamAway.  Years later, he changed the name to Amant’s Carpet Cleaning.

His son Kevin Amant trained in Florida in 1996 at the NTC (National Training Center) to learn how to restore, clean, and seal hard-surface floors such as marble and stone.

Steven Amant wanted to retire and sold the company to Kevin Amant in 2005 and renamed it Amant’s Floor Care due to the hard surface services they had successfully added to the services list.

Kevin Amant has operated the company since and continues to increase sales yearly.

About Amant’s Floor Care

Steven Amant founded the company in 1969, calling it SteamAway.  After a few years, he changed the name to Amant’s Care Cleaning.

In 1996, his son, Kevin Amant, began training to restore hard surfaces such as marble and stone.  He was professionally trained for several weeks at the N.T.C. (National Training Center) to learn everything about cleaning and restoring marble and stone floors.

Kevin headed the division of Amant’s Carpet Cleaning, which cleaned and restored hard-surface, marble, and stone floors until Steven Amant decided to retire.

Kevin Amant purchased the company from his father in 2005 and has been successfully managing it since.  His father, Steven, stops by regularly to support his son and watch the fruits of his labors grow with pride.

It is truly a family-owned business, and everybody’s lives revolve around the business, and the eyes are never taken off the ball.
