Steven Amant founded the company in 1969, calling it SteamAway. After a few years, he changed the name to Amant’s Care Cleaning.
In 1996, his son, Kevin Amant, began training to restore hard surfaces such as marble and stone. He was professionally trained for several weeks at the N.T.C. (National Training Center) to learn everything about cleaning and restoring marble and stone floors.
Kevin headed the division of Amant’s Carpet Cleaning, which cleaned and restored hard-surface, marble, and stone floors until Steven Amant decided to retire.
Kevin Amant purchased the company from his father in 2005 and has been successfully managing it since. His father, Steven, stops by regularly to support his son and watch the fruits of his labors grow with pride.
